Guttering
Gutter, the word has a few meanings, from ‘living in the gutter’ to a channel in
the middle or side of a road just to carry away rainwater, to the one we have come to
recognise as being the one above our heads, on our homes that takes the rain water
to the drain and not to be seen again until it comes back as rain.

We all know that when it now rains, we get more of it, at least in the Northern
Hemisphere, this was known by scientists long before the private homeowner;
